Every time I look in Noah’s eyes, it’s almost like looking at NASA galaxy pictures from Hubble. I love all the shapes and colors!

Back Home
We all made it safely home from Lake Tahoe. We placed Noah into his Jumperoo, and we immediately had to raise the height! He’s at the number 2 height, flat-footed, already! And, he’s really playing with all the attached toys now.
So, this has been a big week: meeting and playing with cousins and aunts and uncle, new diaper size, rolling over, and out-growing the original Jumperoo setting. The little man is growing and having fun!
The Gamblin’ (Little) Man
Noah took his first crawl down to the casinos today. And, we got busted by the pit boss 2 minutes into watching Uncle Ryan play roulette. But, we had fun people-watching and chatting in the lobby. It was guys’ afternoon at Harrah’s, while Mandy napped.
Noah was a real trooper today. We hiked a 3-mile roundtrip hike down to Vikingsholm Castle in Emerald Bay (http://www.vikingsholm.org/) and back. Mandy carried Noah in his Baby Nest, and I carried everything else. It was a long hike back up, especially after Noah started leaking… But, we had a great time with a lot of fun memories/pictures and good burgers and shakes afterward.
We even went in the pool and hot tub to relax this afternoon. Noah and Remy had a great time together. Another fun day with family!

4 Months Old
Noah is 4 months old today, and he celebrated by going to the doctor for more shots. Boo! 🙁 But, it was a good visit.
He now weighs 16 lbs – 2.5 oz! (75% percentile) And, he is 26-1/2″ tall! (95% percentile) She predicts he is going to be tall and skinny, so we’ll see. I know he’s getting bigger, as we’re both having a hard time lifting him into his car seat base at times. He may be in a front-facing car seat by the time he’s 6 months old!
Noah also decided to show off and roll over for the first time today with the doctor. She said he definitely had the motor skills to roll over at this point, and then he just decided to perform. So, all in all, not a bad 4-month birthday. 😀

Mr. Serious
Well, over the last few days, Noah has started to giggle and laugh. It’s really been a lot of fun. You can grab his nose or tickle him under his chin or arms, and he will give a fun giggle! If you’d like to laugh along with him, check out the video here.
We also weighed him today, and he’s over 15 lbs now – no wonder that baby carrier is getting more and more difficult to carry. The boy is packing on the pounds!
Some more recent pictures
Here are some more pictures that I’m just getting around to posting. The last ones are of Noah in his jumperoo — we couldn’t believe he actually fit in it yet, but he does! He loved gnawing on the seat, mostly. 🙂
Noah’s Dedication
I forgot to post this up earlier. We had a wonderful time at Noah’s baby dedication. Many friends and family joined us, and we were very grateful! It means a lot that you stand with us in raising Noah to be a man after God’s own heart. Lunch and dessert time afterwards were a lot of fun!
A Denton Bible Church baby dedication is a time for parents to publicly dedicate their baby to God, and to commit themselves to raising that baby by their example and by the discipline and teaching of Jesus Christ. It is a time of making themselves accountable before God and our congregation, to be purposeful in raising their child in a biblically grounded Christian home. It is also a time for the congregation to pledge their support of these families in deed and in prayer.
