Food glorious food! The kids thought that the food courts at Harrods were amazing. They truly are like stepping back in time where food was a work of art. They have a chocolate food court, a bakery food court, a candy food court-and each room more beautiful than the last. We needed up leaving with several different flavors of Turkish delight-orange, lemon, chocolate and and unknown favorite was the winner!
Taking on the underground. Please mind the gap. Eli said this was his favorite thing he did today but that it got very crowded.
He got hit hard with that jet lag!
A quick trip to Hyde Park to visit our good friend, Peter Pan.
Still going strong after being awake for 30+ hours!!! This kid has surprised me with how well he has done with the time change/jet lag he’s like a dog with its head out the window-everything is new and exciting! He did say he was surprised that when the plane landed, he didn’t have any jet lag yet!
We made it! Now we just have to figure out how to fit 6 people and all this luggage in this “7 passenger” car! Spoiler alert-we didn’t! We ended up having to rent a bigger van!

How to start his first plane ride-another visit to the dr to double check his 103.6 fever. Still negative for flu, strep and pneumonia…thanks to a chest X-ray added in just for fun! He has done this since he was young-spiked high fevers without any other symptoms. We thought he had outgrown them but it appears he thought right before an international flight would be appropriate to bring them back! So thankful for a dr that squeezes you in, 10 mins before they close for the day. So thankful he’s feeling better. Next stop…LONDON!
