Cooling off with a magnum bar
The maze was voted one of the top 3 things we did this trip. They didn’t even complain that it was 90000* in the sun!
Emmy and Eli reenacting how they worked together to get through the maze. . They were determined to be a their time so they thought that they would “cheat” and have Eli tell Emmy which way to go by having him ride on her shoulders! (Blind leading the blind here but Eli had a great ride! ). They didn’t beat their time but Emmy said that this was one of her favorite memories of the entire trip! #cousinsmakethebestfriends
The kids LOVED the hedge maze at Leeds castle and had fun running through it trying to beat their time. Their fastest time was 6:30! It was aMAZEingly fun!

Exploring the beautiful gardens as Leeds Castle. The kids were able to pet/touch/fly by touch a dawn, I got friendly with a peacock, and they found dinosaur sized plants! It was a mile walk from the entrance to the castle but it was so beautiful!
I love that these 2 are the best of friends. I love that they are growing up together. I love that they are close. I love that they do this on their own. #cousinsmakethebestfriends
Canterbury courtyard. I love Canterbury-it’s like stepping back in time. I love the old buildings, the cobblestone roads, and small hidden alleys.
We ate at my favorite pub, The Old Buttermarket. It’s fairly new, only 509 yrs old and they believe it was built on Roman ruins as they have found Roman flint in the cellar. The sticky pudding here is some of the best, btw!
