Noah’s science this year has been a study on all flying creatures. We had an amazing field trip at Lake Ray Roberts where we had rangers talk to us about local birds and flying insects. They brought out several wings, insects, magnifying glasses and binoculars for us to look at and use. We went on a bird and insect hunt and found a ton of really cool animals. A dead scorpion, Hannah picked up what she thought was a worm…nope-centipede!, we found a dead rodent skull, several butterflies and a jumping spider! Afterwards, the kids played on the playground/ate their lunches and the mamas had some time of laughing and talking with each other!
